Short breaks are becoming increasingly beloved - not only with individuals and couples, but with families and groups alike. And while it seems like quite a lot to do, these London attractions are within fair presence to one someone else - so you can likely visit them over your first day in the city.

London is also world predominant for its museums and theatres. So on your second day, visit a handful of the city's most predominant galleries and museums - from the Natural History Museum to the Tate Modern. At night, search for the city's vibrant theatre scene in the West End. Either you pick to see a Shakespeare play or a modern musical, you'll be in for a theatrical treat!

Last but not least, London is well known for its expected shopping scene - so if you love to shop, you'll want to dedicate a day to exploring the city's many retail offerings. Oxford road is one of the city's main shopping streets - with countless high road stores - while Bond road is home to a string of luxurious designer stores. Soho and Camden Town offer more offbeat shopping options, while Covent garden is great for souvenir or gift shopping. Finally, no trip to London is perfect without a stop at the world-famous Harrods department store!

So, while you can't see all of England's capital in a few days, from the moment you arrive in from your flights to London, you can authentically experience many of its most predominant sites and activities over a weekend or short break.
