Research shows more than 40 percent of New Zealanders don't have reading, writing, speaking and listening skills primary to understand many written documents used in workplaces. So how can you heighten your credit as a communicator and keep habitancy 'with you' and tuned-in, rather than turned off and tuned-out?

o Focus on them, not you. Set out with the intention of development the reader or listener feel good about interacting with you. Put them at ease and help them open up to create a genuine two-way transportation process that works for them.

o Never assume. Check insight on an ongoing basis. If you think the man may be confused, or not following you, use a different, more of course understandable word or phrase as swiftly as possible.

Confuse and you'll lose. review in a way that builds rapport and makes habitancy feel good about the interaction and your credit for being a gifted communicator will be assured.
